Dear customer,

As our goal is always to keep you informed of changes that may impact your business, we would like to advise you of an update to rail routings into and out of Atlanta, GA via Savannah, Charleston, and North Charleston ports.

CSX recently announced that, effective April 15th, 2019, international rail cargo will be handled through their newly expanded Fairburn facility instead of their Atlanta Hulsey ramp. The CSX Fairburn ramp is located in close proximity to the city of Atlanta.

Effective April 15, for cargo originating or terminating at the Atlanta rail ramp and moving to the ports of Savannah, Charleston, or North Charleston, you will need to select Atlanta – Fairburn, GA.

Store door cargo should continue to be booked as normal.

CSX Fairburn Ramp Address 6700 McLarin Road Fairburn, GA 30213

Cargo originating or terminating at the Atlanta rail ramp and moving to the U.S. West Coast ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach will not be impacted.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to your local sales or customer service representative. You will find contact details of our local offices on maersk.com.

We appreciate your business and look forward to continuing working with you in the future.
